1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using TextOrigin (textorigin.online), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use our services.
2. Description of Service
TextOrigin provides online text analysis tools including plagiarism checking, AI content detection, grammar checking, readability analysis, text paraphrasing, and word counting. Services are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind.
3. User Accounts
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must be at least 16 years old to use our services. One person may not maintain more than one free account.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to: use the service for any illegal purpose; submit content that infringes on intellectual property rights; attempt to reverse-engineer or exploit our systems; use automated tools to access the service beyond API limits; resell or redistribute our services without permission; submit malware or malicious content.
5. Subscription Plans
Free accounts are subject to daily usage limits. Paid plans offer increased limits and additional features as described on our pricing page. Subscriptions are billed monthly. You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the billing period.
6. Content & Intellectual Property
You retain all rights to the text you submit for analysis. We do not claim ownership of your content. We may temporarily store your text for processing and history purposes. Our service, including its design, code, and branding, is protected by intellectual property laws.
7. Accuracy & Limitations
While we strive for accuracy, our tools provide automated analysis and may not be 100% accurate. Plagiarism results depend on indexed web content availability. AI detection is probabilistic, not definitive. Grammar suggestions should be reviewed before applying. Our service should not be the sole basis for academic or legal decisions.
8. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days.
9. Limitation of Liability
TextOrigin shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim.
10. Changes to Terms
We may modify these terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. We will notify registered users of significant changes.
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ukraine. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ukraine.
